I love fruit! It’s healthy and tastes delicious. Since I arrived in Hawaii, I have been enjoying fruit every day. That’s been one of my favorite things about Hawaii.
In Hawaii, all fruit is top quality, even if it does not grow on the island. Also, Hawaii is home to many different fruits that only grow there. Finally, you can grow tropical fruit in your backyard and it comes out better than the store!
I can assume that almost everybody reading this loves mango. What if every day, you could walk outside, pick a fresh juicy mango, and have it for breakfast! That way, you save money and time. It only take a few seeds to start a mango tree. Then, if you are lucky, you get a big mango tree full and brimming with fresh mangos. Plus, fruit always tastes better when you pick it yourself because you know that it’s something that you earned and did not just buy it from the farmers market. Did you know that when tropical fruits get hot, they turn sweet? That’s what makes fruit in Hawaii the best, because guess what, tell me a place that’s hotter than Hawaii?
If you haven’t been to Hawaii, you may not have tried starfruit or mountain apples. As I mentioned before, Hawaii has unique and different fruits growing all around. Go to a country like England, and you wouldn’t find these fruits there. In my opinion, the original Hawaiian fruits are so delicious and creative. For example, take starfruit. It looks like a starfish and taste so good that it would be the “Star”. I do think that when you devour Hawaiian fruit, you will be amazed.
Next time you visit Hawaii, taste some fruits and tell me which is your favorite. I think that this question will be hard to answer because like I said, Hawaiian fruit tastes amazing! Pictures of Hawaiian fruit:

I have an answer for you on the question – tell me a place that’s hotter than Hawaii. Nate, let me tell you – Taiwan is hotter than Hawaii. In fact, Taiwan is hotter than the sun. But you’re right, the mangos in Taiwan were unbelievable, I couldn’t stop eating them. I think I’ve turned into a mango in fact.

I agree–there is nothing like eating fresh fruit in Hawaii! We had the best lilikoi (passion fruit) there. We searched for lilikoi in California but it looked and smelled completely different here–didn’t even look like the same fruit. Uncle Andy tried sneaking some through the agriculture screening in Hawaii and got busted so he ate the entire bag right in front of them.

Go to Singapore Nate it’s even hotter than Hawaii. Hawaii has great fruit though like you mentioned. Star fruit is probably not my favorite though besides pineapple.

I love mangoes, too! My grandfather used to have 2 kinds of mango trees in his yard. He would cut one kind of mango in half, take the seed out, then fill the hole with a scoop of vanilla ice cream! The other kind, he would cut a “dome” off the side, cut a checkerboard in the fruit, then inverted it so you could eat the cubes of mango easily. Either way, Hawaii mangoes are delicious! Let’s tell Aunty Jo to make her famous Taiwanese mango shave ice!
