Happy almost holidays everyone!!! Christmas and New Years are just around the corner, but there’s still a lot of preparing to do. Whether it’s putting up lights, shopping for presents, or simply making delicious food, this time of the year is always busy.
When we make food for a holiday, we typically try to include some red, white, or green in it for a festive spirit addition. You will also notice that there are a lot of striped lines on various items as well. I mean, if it’s not that familiar music that brings me into this holiday, it’s the look of the food. For example, when my sister came home with freshly baked green and red M$M gingerbread cookies, I started recalling a lot of Christmas memories from the previous year. A lot of Christmas themed food tends to be sweet because it’s easier to toy with colors on desserts. A hot chocolate bar definitely portrays what I just explained.
The last thing I want to say about Christmas food is that they kind of have a positive effect on you. If you eat a candy cane, your mood lifts by a little. If you try at Christmas tree shaped cookie, you could be a little more cheerful to others. Sometimes when you have a ton of Christmas themed items around you, you can get ecstatic. You should see me during Christmas time. I’m the happiest I could ever be! And part of that is because of the food.
This post was made just so I could give you my opinion on Christmas foods, but most importantly, I think that we all know that It’s Beginning To Look A Lot like Christmas.
