There aren’t many Korean restaurants like To-Bang, where both the food and service are stellar. If you dine at To-Bang, the food keeps on coming. I mean, just as I sat down, there was already food grilling and appetizers spread out on the table. My favorite types of restaurants are the ones where you get food immediately (buffet, dim sum). Hey, after all, the main reason you dine at a restaurant is because you are hungry.

At many Korean restaurants, the eaters grill their own food and it cooks really fast. For some reason, the To-Bang grill literally turned the raw meat into cooked meat in a matter of seconds. To-Bang has a set menu, so you don’t have to worry about what’s good or not.

The meat I tasted was had little flavor, and that’s why our meal came with a variety of dipping sauces.  My favorite was the salt, pepper, and sesame oil sauce. It’s pretty amazing how simple ingredients can actually spice it up. Because the sauces had a strong taste, the meal included an even bigger variety of wraps for the meat (rice paper, lettuce, thick noodle, etc). It was really fun eating at To-Bang because it allowed me to eat in a way I had never eaten before. I calculated that there was about 12-16 different ways you could eat your meat using wraps and sauces. There must have been at least 100 different plates on the table all at once. I didn’t know what to try!

Lastly, as we were walking out the door with our satisfied stomaches, guess what happened?  They gave us parting gifts of Choco Pies (chocolate and marshmallow sandwiches) and frozen Calpicos (sweet Korean drinks). We were happy the whole way out!

Like I have said in many other posts, you can only learn so much from my posts. I suggest that on a special occasion, you take your family on a treat to this loved Korean restaurant because the first thing you will feel when you step out of the restaurant is BANG BANG.
