Hawaii is a very popular tourist spot because there are so may activities to explore like surfing or stand up paddle boarding. Some of these activities start in the morning and end at around lunch time. Sometimes you don’t want to eat lunch, but you want something to tie you over. Spam musubi is a great snack to tie you over because it is light, you can find it at any food shop, and tastes good.
One of the best and well known meats in Hawaii is spam. As you know, spam is very salty. That can be a good or bad thing. In case it is bad, there is lots of rice underneath the spam in the musubi to balance it out along with a piece of seaweed wrapped around. Usually you grill the spam and let it sit out on the rice for a while. After a while, the spam juice come out and gets into the rice. That way, when you eat it, the rice doesn’t taste bland, but flavorful. Also, spam musubi is always wrapped in saran wrap, so you can just grab and go for a quick meal. The seaweed wrapped around squeezes the rice together so much that if you keep it in the saran wrap, it will never fall apart.
Any typical snack or food shop would have spam musubi because it’s so popular. That way you don’t have to worry about if spam musubi will be there. Also, when you don’t know what to eat for a meal, you can list spam musubi as one of your choices because you know that it is going to be there. For example: I went surfing in the morning for a couple hours. Afterwards, I was so tired and needed something to eat. My first thought was: “How about spam musubi!” The very first thought. All those reasons helped me decide in an instant. I know that spam musubi tastes good, but it is super unhealthy, so don’t eat it that often. By the way, every one pronounces musubi: moo-soo-bee. The real way to say it is MOO-soo-bee. Funny, right? Pictures of spam musubi:
I want to give a shout out to Aunty Corrine because she guessed the snack I wrote about. What might my next post be about? Hint:” I’m soooooo hot, I need something to cool me down!”
Eat a lot of this stuff because when you become my age, a spam MOO-soo-bee may be the last thing you eat. I think your next post will be about spam flavored shaved ice.

Spam flavored shave ice would probably taste so disgusting I would throw up ten times! I wonder if anyone has ever invented salty shave ice because spam would defenitely fit into that category.
