Who am I?

Im a healthy breakfast option that’s easy to eat

Protein packed for protein, I’m hard to beat

I’m solid on the outside, soft in the middle

My dad wakes up early and says cocka diddle diddle

You can’t get the gold without a crack

My mommy always tells me that it’s a healthy snack

You can salt it a little, or eat it plain

You can take it in the car or on a plane

I’m the main event on Easter Day

Leave me in the sun and I’ll make you pay

I sit in water over flame’s on high

So tell me everybody, who am I?
