NATEFOODBLOG.COM!

Have you noticed that my URL is no longer natefoodblog.wordpress.com? Yesterday afternoon, I was clicking around on my blog when I saw an advertisement. Not everyone likes advertisements because they distract you from the real content. I decided to buy an upgrade for my website! Over the next few weeks, you will might find some…

A Waffle Dog Winner

When you talk about hybrid foods, nothing tastes better than the classic waffle hot dog. On an evening dinner the night after Christmas, my grandmother brought us a real treat, waffle dogs. My mom loved eating KC Waffle dogs as a child, and family run business still caters small events. Dayton, the man operating the machine,…

Local Grinds (Diamond Market and Grill)

Nothing is better than starting your day with a fresh blueberry scone from Diamond Head Market and Grill. Located a few blocks from my grandparent’s house, this destination holds everything from salads to pastries to local favorites. I notice that my cousin Christina especially values the lemon crunch cake and biscuits, so she requested to…

New Website! Update Post

As you can see, my cousin and I changed the theme of the website. We also added a navigation bar, with an “All Posts” section, an “Archives” section and a “About” section. In the archive section, we categorized all the posts into things like travel and reviews. Hope you guys like the new look! – Nate

Maui Wowie!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a great holiday filled with lots of food (I did)! Before my family and I traveled to Oahu, the island where my grandparents live, we stopped on Maui for a family friend’s wedding. Although not there for long, I quickly noticed some outlandish foodie features…

Christmas Cravings

Something that really boosts Christmas is the food. Whether it’s hot chocolate or egg strata, these treats are only devoured during the special holiday. This year, my family and I are spending Christmas in Hawaii with our grandparents. My grandmother is the BEST home cook! She made all of the chinese remedies, if you don’t remember that…

Helping Homeless

Did you ever think making and serving good food could actually be better than eating it? Go to breakfast at Hope’s Corner  to find out. On Saturday, my family and a couple of friends came together as a part of Keys Community Cares and served breakfast at a church in Mountain View. We made breakfast take away…

A Little Hillary in Our Halloween

The Hillary mention is at the end…! Sorry I haven’t posted in a while. I was sick and my grandparents were in town, but it is good to be back. Just in time for Halloween! While Trick or Treating around 3 whole blocks, I snatched 147 pieces of candy. 147 pieces of sweets means around 60…

In the Mood for Costco’s Food

It’s funny that I bring up Costco again, because the last time I did a Costco post in November 2015, I didn’t tell you how good the food is.  Previously, I shared that I was going on Outdoor Education and would have some foodie experiences. I asked our camping head chef where he got his food from….

I’m Still Here

Sorry if you haven’t heard from me in one month. I have been working on something special related to my glamorous London trip. Meanwhile, I just wanted you to know that I have started Keys Middle School (Whoo Whoo) and there are a lot foodie things going on. At Keys Lower School, you aren’t able to…
